How do I use Liquiproof protector spray?

A step-by-step guide

How to use Liquiproof Protector on your sneakers? A step-by-step guide.

At Sneaker Essentials, we understand that your sneakers are more than just footwear; they're your personal style statements that you want to protect. That's why we offer Liquiproof Protector: an eco-friendly spray that protects your sneakers from dirt, water, and stains. Here's our step-by-step guide to a question we often get: "How do I use Liquiproof?"

Step 1: Preparation is everything

Before using the Liquiproof spray, make sure your sneakers are clean. Remove loose dirt with a brush and use an eco-friendly cleaner for a thorough cleaning. Let them dry completely. For best results, apply Liquiproof to new sneakers.

Step 2: Apply evenly

Shake the Liquiproof bottle well before use. Hold the bottle upright and spray an even layer onto your sneakers from about 10-15 cm away until they are slightly damp. Prevent saturation by dabbing away excess spray with a dry cloth.

Please note: Liquiproof is not suitable for patent leather or previously treated sneakers.

Step 3: Applying the protective layer

For a deep bond with the fabric, gently rub the Liquiproof protector in with a clean, soft brush . For firmer materials like canvas, use a slightly stiffer brush. Use a circular motion when applying the brush.

Start with the lightest colors first, or use a separate brush for each color material. Failure to follow this process can result in irreversible color bleeding.

Step 4: Dry and repeat

After applying, let the sneakers rest for 10 minutes. Then repeat the application and processing of the Liquiproof spray. Let your sneakers dry for 24 hours for optimal protection.

Note: The application method is very important. Failure to follow the instructions correctly may result in uneven protection or visible marks. Liquiproof is not necessary for use on waterproof, resistant, repellent, or painted materials.

That depends on the coverage you want. Usually, two to three thin coats are sufficient.
